Abs. Everybody wants defined abs.
The simple step process to gaining and maintaining six pack abs is as follows: strengthen your abdominal muscles and lose body fat. The concept is simple, but putting it into action is not. It will take dedication, willpower, patience and time to get a six pack but in the end, the effort is well worth it. Remember, abs are made mostly in the kitchen! You can have the most toned and defined abs but they won't show through if there's a layer of fat over them.
The key to getting abs? Motivation and a Daily Program to follow. If you are not motivated to get into your daily ab routine, how will you ever acquire great abs? Things to get you motivated are: Eat breakfast so your body is prepared to work right when you wake up, Keep a record or log book, Set a daily time each day in which you will work on your abs. Having a daily routine is also CRUCIAL. If you dont keep at it at least 6 times a week, results might not be what you were hoping for. Getting abs is kind of like getting good at running > you have to keep at it to see good results. The long term results are worth it and you'll be glad you stuck to whatever routine you decide to follow.

Since the abs are located in the center of your body, there are literally hundreds of differnt ways to work them. Some excercises target the lower abs, upper abs, and obliques. Remember, it is important to realize in order to have good looking abs you have to work all parts of them (otherwise some areas of your mid section will be more "ripped" than others). Persistance, Motivation, Good Diet...and a soid routine will get you abs. Its that simple, you can get anything you want, if you put your mind to it. (i know it's cliche, but it's very true.)
